What a great this woman Kim is ,as she surprised her Dad Mike from Texas, with A peacock Bass trip for his birthday. Debating as to where to go all the storms brewing, we rolled the dice and made the right choice . This father and daughter team had a ball catching 17 peacock bass and 1 Largemouth. Kim started day off with the first Peacock Bass. Next they hit their double and it was on from there. They battled all day for the bragging rights. Well the birthday Boy was Victorious with a final score of 10-8. This is what it’s all about sharing quality time with that special person in your life. This past week I had Long time clients and friends Cindy & Charlie Freeman formally from TX. now living in Flippin AK. Day 1 started how with Cindy catching the first of 32 Peacock bass that was caught that day . On this day it was mostly Charlie and ending the day with a nice 4 .5 Lb . Now on Day 2 – The couple started out slow in one of my prime spots , I was disappointed with only catching 3 small ones, so I moved on through the canals system to some of my old spot. Once there it was like a new day. Charlie hooks up with a beauty 5 LB. Male Butterfly Peacock Bass. Then on the next cast lost a bigger one. Now we were all thinking that this was going to be the big fish of the day ,“NOT”. Cindy 5 mins later hooks into a fish of a life time a Florida Trophy 7.4 LB. After catching two trophies we took a lunch break , Cindy thinking she was done for the day and sat back as Charlie put several more in the boat. As we neared ending time, I decide to take them back to a spot where we saw a big peacock , but couldn’t catch him earlier that morning. Once there Charlie popped another peacock , so Lady Luck gets up tosses a bait into the water and “BAM”the fight is on again , this time much more action, ripping line and a struggle to get him in . This Trophy weigh-in at 6.84 LB. Watch the Battle, sit back and enjoy the action The “Orginal ” Hawghunter , Capt. Frank Carbone is guiding 7 days a week , book your date’s now while the action is still “HOT” Call- 954-325-1115

What a great family I had on the water. Frank & Nicole Mc Entee from PA .with their to sons Lucas 5 and Colton 4. The brothers starter the day of by catching the first two peacock bass in the first 10 seconds of the day. Lucas got the first and Colton the next one in 5 seconds. They had to do it all catch the bait, pull up the anchor, reeling in the fish. Sometimes I think they were more interested in the Gar. Driving the boat . Just two great well behaved kids. Lucas Started thing off with a Peacock Bass and Dad ended it with a peacock Bass. This family made my day, and keeps me doing this year after year.

Today I had by far one of my best Days on the water this year so far. Steve Herriges from Wisconsin treated his Brother in law Brain Zurn and his two boys Haydan 13 and Colton 12 for a 1/2 day of Peacock Bass Fishing. It was a windy day and clouds rolling in but the Peacock’s were biting. Steve start things off by catching the first peacock. Next Brian caught one and then the 1st of 3 Trophy caught on this day , A 5.65 LB. 22 ” Male Peacock Bass. Colton then hit his first and poor Hayden struggled to catch an Oscar, “but”, it was one of the biggest Oscars I’ve seen. Within the first 30 mins the boys had 11 fish in the boat including 2 Largemouth. For the next 2 hours they caught one here and there as we had to go find them, so with 16 in the boat I decided to move. This turned out to be a great choice as Haydan , after much complaining, several tree,s a few rocks and flinging a dozen shiners off, had his thrill of his life as he battled for 5 mins. to boat his 22″ 6.09 LB. Peacock . This is a true Florida Trophy. Watch the Action as this 13 year old battles his Trophy www.dropbox.com/s/4eccma6tsvwlbe2/20160309_111619.mp4?dl=0 His bragging right didn’t last long as his Dad answered back, on the next fish with a 6.62 LB. “HAWG” . The foursome totaled out the day with 19 , 16 Peacock’s 2 Largemouth & 1 Oscar. As true fisherman the boys all made replica’s of their Trophy’s and set them FREE for the next angler to catch, “YOU”. “What a Day”, Don’t miss out on the action while I’m on the bite , Call now 954-325-1115
