For the past two days I had the pleasure of guiding three anglers from Japan,Masatusuga Yamada, Wataru Sakanashi & Takanori Suzuki. These were excellent Anglers with some of the best fishing gear and lures. The Japanese fisherman do not believe in using live bait, only artificial. On day one I had them fishing a private lake I have access to , once there they started bring out the strangest lures I had ever seen. After an hour I convinced them to use the lure I knew would work best., here was some of the results. The boys totaled 27 Peacock and Large mouth up to 6.75 LB. or ( 54cm), On day two we headed to the Canals of Miami for some of the same action, again they boys struck gold, by catching several Peacock bass up to 6 lb. (50cm). Most of the fish were caught on jerk baits. The two day total was over 50 fiish and the results were three very happy clients, with of course several hundred pictures. Hi Frank, just wanted to thank you again for making our Sunday fishing day work out for us – I know you had said that one of your other clients had to switch so I appreciate them doing that as well. We were looking at the pictures of our fish that you took and it’s just like you said – they really all do look very different when you compare them to one another. We all had a great time and enjoyed a great lunch at Sonia’s. I had the best shrimp cocktail and frog legs that I ever had. Well yesterday I had”The Amish Connection”. Last week they the Yoder family had a banner day , with catching 62 Peacock Bass up to 5 Lb. On this trip they wanted to possibility catch a Clown fish. Return Clients Rick Fox & Randy Totman from Ohio,once again crushed the Fishing in Florida . Day 1 – Rick started off the day on the first cast scored the first peacock of the day. On Randy’s first cast he reeled in a Largemouth Bass. That’s the great thing about fishing South Florida, its the only place in the world you can catch both on the same trip. Then after Randy dropped a $200 Danali rod and a $159 Abu Garcia reel in the water I had to tie it to his wrist. His Luck we got it Back, LOL a The boys action was non stop, within the first hour Randy’s line start to sing as line peeled out of the spool, this beauty weighed in at 6.32 LB. and another at 5.84 LB. As we were moving to another spot of mine, I spotted a pair of nice Peacock Bass. Now it was Ricks turn for his trophy. He missed the bigger one , but boated this nice Peacock Bass5.45 LB. The day ended with the boys catching over 40 including 8 Largemouth and 1 Midas Cichlid. Day 2 With the winds finally died down the duo headed to The Famed Lake Okeechobee. Randy scored the Biggest “HAWG’ 8.7 LB. While Rick had also a nice Lunker he got 7.5 LB. & 5 ...

I had these 2 great couples from Utah, that combined caught over 60 Peacock bass not including the other species. Justin & Brittany & Morgan & Alysse. Brittany caught the 1st of the Day Here are just some of the highlights. 31 Peacock Bass Justin and Brittany had 3 doubles 2 over 6 Lb. 4 – 5’s 8-over 4 Lb. and several in the 3 Lb. range. On this Rainy day in Sunny Florida Robert and Robert JR.Scranton caught Peacock Bass. Jr. stared thing off from the first cast with his first one of the day. Then he Hit a Nice one over 5 LB. Dad also caught 3 peacock ‘s 3 large mouth Bass. the Father 7 son ended up with 14 total with 4 large mouth and 1 Jaguar Oh! I almost forgot, Jr. caught a Turtle.
