It was a Ladies Day Again Barbie vs. Peacock’s

Lady Luck strikes again as Barbie Kippas from South Dakota schools her husband Joe on the skills of catching peacock bass.
On day 1 it started out with Barbie catching the first of the day and also turned out to big the biggest ,a beautiful 5.5 LB. Male Butterfly Peacock Bass.

After about the 4 th Peacock caught by Barbie , Joe finally scored his first.

As the day went on the couple continued to catch several more also including 2 largemouth bass 1 Oscar and a Midas Cichlid.

All in all they caught over 30 fish 3 peacock’s over 4 lb. several 3 LB’ers.
with only 2 under .

On day 2 it was all Joe as we headed to The Florida Everglades Together we caught over 70 Bass nothing too big but all on artificial bait .

The bait of choice was Gambler’s Ace. The color didn’t matter.

 The South Dakota has a great time and will remember the day they caught Florida Peacock Bass. Next stop the AMAZON for the Monster 20 Lber’s.
