Today I had the pleasure of guiding Quebec’s Officer Sebastian and his modal girlfriend Christina for a day of fishing. The day started out with a Peacock double.   The couple was visiting for the holiday and took a afternoon off to go fishing with The Hawghunter. They had a great time and fun catching Not only Peacock Bass but also Largemouth , Snakeheads , Gar , and even a Chain Pickerel.   The thing that’s great about fishing South Florida is that you can catch both Largemouth and Peacock Bass in the same spot and as you see other species also. Reserve your dates now for the Holiday Season coming up, also we are getting into the spawning season for our giant Largemouth Bass. January through May is out busiest months.  Call 954-325-1115

For this Father & Son team, Ed & Josh Jacobson from CT. this was 2 days to remember. The first day started out slow due to the fact we had no wind and blue bird skies. Once the wind picked up, as I predicted , the action was non stop. Ed was having a great day with catching a nice 6 lb. largemouth. Most of the bass were caught on wild shiners, the others on gambler ace.   With such a successful day the boys opted to go back again. The big difference on this day was the action was from the first cast, and the size of the bass that was caught. They had landed 8 bass over 5 lb. With Josh taken  most glory with a “Okee Hawg”over 8 lb. also catching a 7 a pair of 6’s & 5’s. Ed landed the 7 lb.   Josh stated”I had one of the best fishing trips of my life with you, can’t thank you enough”.        Ed was quoted by saying”You made this an extraordinary vacation”.   This is what’s it all about a Father & Son sharing quality time on the water, the bass just add to the memories. “The Hawghunter and his staff of licensed Guides are ready to show you the best of what Florida has to offer.
