Split Day both Largemouth & Peacock Bass

Today I had this great couple from Louisiana, Ryan Porter and his girlfriend Amanda . What split day is, I give you the best of both world’s. You get both species in two different locations.
We started out in The Everglades this couple caught over 70 Bass all on artificial plastics by Gambler Baits. Amanda out fish her man , and never put the Ace bait down. The lure of choice today was the Ace color didn’t matter, also EZ swimmers, jerk baits and topwater.
Although most of the bass were between 1-2 LB. Ryan did slam a nice 4.5 LB. two over 3 LB.
By 11:30 the decision was made to attack the Peacock Bass. As soon as we got to our next fishing hole the storm came making the fishing tough with 25 + mph winds. Once the storm passed they caught 10 Peacock Bass and guess who caught the biggest, “What a fight”.
