The 2014 Season started out where 2013 left off. The peacock bass action is as good as it’s been.
From WI. I had Outdoor agent Conway Marvin and his wife Mary. Conway start of with his biggest Peacock of the day a nearly 5 lb. Male. By 1 PM the couple had boated 20 peacock bass and a few largemouth.
Next there was Karen Grayson from Naples, FL. and her friend . They had a great time catching Peacock & Largemouth Bass , Mylan and Jaguars cichlids totaling 29 up to 4.7 lb.
The great thing about fishing South Florida is , it’s the only place in the States you can catch both Largemouth & Peacock bass on the same trip.
Ending the week was Father & Son Ken and Joe Miller from PA. This duo top off the day with 32 fish into the boat. They also had two doubles with Joe catching the most but dear old Dad capturing the bragging rights with this biggest a nice 4 lb.
As the weather gets warm , the action will even get better and so will the size as we enter the spawning season. So book your dates now .
Hawghunter Guide Service Capt. Frank Carbone and staff of guides work 7 days a week and waiting show you a fishing experience to remember.
