Return clients Keisuke and Miku Ota from Japan came down for 4 great day’s of fishing. Day 1 was focused on snakehead they were successful in catching 3 up to 58 cm plus peacock bass a largemouth . They were using top water plastics from Japan. I think Miku is the most colorful dressed angler I have ever seen   Day 2 Peacock Bass – 9 Peacock bass were caught plus a Mylan all on jerk baits and one on top water.   Day 3- Largemouth in The Everglades, What a great day K and myself had as Miku opted to shop at The Sawgrass Mall from 10 AM-10-PM.     We landed over 40 bass not to count the ones we missed. The bait of choice was Gambler’s EZ swimmer, and a few on an Ace (sanko) . we had 6 Bass over 4 LB. with the biggest at 6 lb. On Day 4 they decided for  Peacock Bass to end this great trip of many fond memories and photos. This couple caught 11 peacock bass some largemouth a Mylan and K got a bonus by catching 2 Jacks’s. Then on the very last cast of the trip Miku hooked in to and landed this beauty which was the biggest of the trip.   We also had a great lunch at Sonia’s, for an excellent Cuban  cuisine  I have to say Miku was a real trouper after getting hooked 3 times and she got K back 1 time. This has to be a record , I have to say that Bill Dance method of hook removal really works as I had taken one from the one from the thigh and one from the face. Keisuke has been a client for the past 10 years and has join me twice in The Amazon where his biggest was 19 LB..

What a nice couple I had fishing with me on this day, Howie & Liz Haspel from Colorado. On the first cast Howie catches a nice 4 Lber. Within minutes Liz lands hers and trip begins on the right foot.   As we move to our next spot the duo lands 6 in a row then a few misses. Well the action doesn’t stop there as the bite continues. After 23 peacock bass caught , lucky number 24 was Howie’s Trophy Peacock Bass a nice colorful 5.10 LB. 22″, and it’s only 11am.             After a few more we headed over to Sonia’s for a fantastic lunch. This is one of those hole in the walls people look for. They serve primarily Cuban food and also American.     Watch      After lunch and a few more casts the day ended with 29 Total and a belly full of good food. “It Ain’t Just Fishing” Call now while the fishing is Hot. 954-325-1115

George boated 13 peacock’s and 1 Mylan.   Next I had the pleasure of fishing with a Father & Son also from TN. Eric & Easton Underwood. We did a split day , started out fishing the flats in The Everglades for largemouth , fishing was tough as a front moved in . Although Easton hooked into a nice largemouth . With the fishig being a bit slow we opt to head out for some Peacock bass. in a short time and 4 doz. shiners later the boys boats a dozen peacock bass and 1 Largemouth.   After fishing easton had a meeting with UM and may be the next quarterback. Good Luck Easton     The bite is on so come on down and fish with “The Orginal Hawghunter”, Capt. Frank Carbone
