Yes , that’s right Jim Ezinga and his lovely wife Julie from Chicago boated our  5 th 10 lb. Largemouth Bass of the year.
 
The day started out catching only 2-3 lb Bass. Then as usual Lady Luck strikes again as Julie caught a 7.8 lb. Trophy, her largest ever.
 
 
 
She then caught another 5 lb. and finally Jim caught his 6 lb.  It was all Julie, until Jim even things up towards the end of the day, with his 10 lb. “HAWG”.  Jim has been waiting all his life for a 10 lb. Largemouth Bass and now his dream came true with “The Hawghunter”, Capt. Frank Carbone.

This couple had a banner day to remember and were out of shiners by 11:30 am.

A Happy Couple

I have been catching Big bass like this since December and as long as the water doesn’t drop too low it will continue to be Great fishing. If you can get away , come on down and join the fun on Lake Okeechobee.
