What a Banner Day these boys from Missouri had this past weekend. John Duever and his brother Joe with good friend Kyle had my 2nd best day in 14 years of guiding so far. In only 6 hours they managed to put 52 Peacock Bass in the boat, with the biggest being 5 lb. 2 oz. caught by Kyle.KyleThe brothers also had 3 over 4 lb. with the majority being in the 2.5 lb range.JohnAll the bass were caught on shiners using a Daiichi Bleeding #1 Hook and a tiny split shot. The Missouri trip also had 2 doubles and almost a triple if John hadn’t broke off. JOENot only was this their best fishing day ever, they all amazed of the fighting power these scrappy species have. John stated he had gotten spoiled and didn’t know if he could back to largemouth after experiencing the “Florida Peacock Bass”.So come on down and join in on the fun with myself ,Capt.
