Largemouth Bass Fishing 
Located in Sinaloa in the Sierra Madre Mountains of western Mexico, Lake Mateos is a quaint lake that has amazing flats, rock islands, bluff shorelines, and rocky points. Historically, Lake Mateos is one of Mexico's premier Largemouth Fishing holes. Renown for being the best top-water bait fishing in North America. Fishing on Lake Mateos is an fisherman's dream! Huge numbers have been caught. Depending on the time of day, your average angler can catch dozens of prize fish!
Accommodations
Our Lodge is located on a dreamy hillside overlooking the Humaya River. Built in 1986, and having recently undergone a major renovation and expansion, the lodge houses twenty guests. All rooms contain air-conditioning and have maid service twice daily. The rooms are extremely clean with private bathrooms and showers, pedestal sinks and American style elongated toilets (the Mexican versions are small!)
Fishing Boats Designed for Prize Largemouth Fishing
The boats are 18-foot, American made, Logic fiberglass bass boats with two swivel seats, life jackets, nets and drink coolers. All boats are equipped with Lowrance electronics and MinnKota trolling motors. Outboard Motors: We have new 2006 model Yamaha 60 H.P. motors and all new 56 lb. thrust MotorGuide trolling motors! Weather: From October until early April: high of 80-85 degrees and a low of 55-65 degrees. From May until the end of June: high of 85-95 degrees and a low of 65-70. The prime time for visiting Lake Mateos Bass Lodge is from October 1st until the end of June.
