On these two day’s Myself and my # 1 Guide, Doug Harris had the opportunity to fish not only with a Great guy , but a Great Florida Angler, and here is his Testimonial.   Frank / DougJust a quick note to thank you for a two day of fishing adventures, I had a great time on the water and your service is amongst the very few that can be considered a “Real Guiding Service”.   On day one Doug took Juan for some Florida Peacock Bass , and what a day it was. This Angler caught some nice Peacock Bass up to 4 lb. Juan caught his bass on Live Bait and also Artificial Lures.       The Weather was great and the bite was on. At the start on the first cast, he caught a peacock bass and the action didn’t stop there. The sun was high and they were on top, most of the peacock’s were caught site fishing.                                    The Next day it was my turn to show Juan a good time and that I did. It was like two  buddies fishing together. Juan caught all his Bass on plastic’s, mostly Gambler EZ Swimmers and other baits he brought along.      He landed some nice 5 &  6 Lbers. to top of his great day in the Glade’s. All the bass were caught swimming the baits through the pads, and then just hold on.    Right now The Everglades is doing very well with catching Big Bass. This season was a slow start , but it’s here now. So Give “The Hawghunter” Capt. Frank Carbone and his Guide’s a call for some South Florida top Water action.       Special props Doug Harris, he was spot on fish all day long and readily available to help with everything I may have needed during our outing; we laughed and caught tons of fish all day long (Even the weather was perfect!!!).I truly look forward to go out again with you guys.Sincerely,Juan MattosMiami Florida.

Today was a great day as I enjoyed the Salines Family from Texas, Tony, Erica, Eric & Aidan. The Day started out with a heavy down pour which forced us to fish under a bridge. As soon as the rain stopped we spotted three Peacock Bass , but no luck in catching them.    So I ran to another spot, once there the action started. We had sighted a nice Peacock Bass up against the banks. Both Tony & Erica started to pitch for the first of several Peacock’s  to come. As always Lady Luck strikes again, as his lovely wife Erica was victorious.       Everyone caught a peacock bass even 4 year old Aidan , they also caught a few other tropical species.  to top out the day around 11 Peacock Bass  .  You and your Family can also enjoy a day on the water with Capt. Frank, “The Hawghunter”

Harry Gualco from Oregon, a Pro angler who has fished the world for over 35 years, decided to see what Florida had to offer. Harry came down with 5 other anglers for 4 days of fishing .    The first day we headed to the Florida Everglades for Largemouth Bass. Amazed by the amount of fish that were caught in one day, Harry new he found a new fishing destination. Harry counted over 170 Bass that day with the least amount one boat caught was 87, all the bass were caught on artificial.                             Day 2 Went to Miami for some Peacock Bass fishing, the amount of fish caught was no where near the amount in the Glades. What was agreed, the fight of the Largemouth Bass was no match of that of the Peacock Bass . The Peacock Bass pound for pound is the most hardest fighting freshwater fish there is.   After a hard day of Fishing we headed for our favorite watering hole, Sonia’s for some great Cuban food and cold beer.                                                                                                             Day 3   Was the hit of the trip as the boys experienced The Big “O”, Lake Okeechobee. All my guides boated Bass over 5 lbs. and several bass in the 2.5 – 4 lb. range. The bait of choice was the NEW Gambler EZ swimmer , if you haven’t tried this bait , go out and buy it. This bait is a top water plastic bait , that drives the bass crazy. It has a lot of noise and vibration as you swim it through the heavy cover or open water. If you don’t know where to buy them you can order them direct on my site.     Harry & Darryl had a blast catching several bass and loosing some “Hawgs” in the weeds until that got the idea of the hook set. The highpoint of the day was when on the last cast Harry hit a 7.15  lb. and then Darryl doubles with a 5. 15 lb. to...
